Do you think it might be possible to use molds intended for lead if they were chilled before using to help the wax from running?

MOLDING BEESWAX

We have molded wax figures for years and find it a fascinating hobby. There seems to be a good market for such products. It is possible to realize a good return for both your wax and labor. It requires an outlet in a store which knows values and can charge higher prices. We use rubber molds made for plaster of Paris figures. They may be obtained from most hobby stores. We keep wax from sticking by dusting the inside of the mold lightly with com starch. Allow the wax to cool slowly and be certain that the molds are kept level.
